Airports Council International (ACI) forecasts that passenger traffic in the Middle East will reach 449 million in 2024, 110% higher than pre-pandemic levels. This growth underscores the region's resilience and attractiveness as a tourist destination. With passenger numbers steadily increasing, the Middle East will maintain its upward trend next year.


Globally, air travel is also on the rise, with ACI forecasting a total of 9.5 billion passengers in 2024, reflecting a 10 % year-on-year growth. The UAE has rebounded strongly, contributing significantly to this upturn. As international travel continues to recover, the region's strategic location and world-class infrastructure are key factors attracting both leisure and business travellers.
